We are currently seeking expressions of interest from workshop coordinators and nominations for community participation.
Nearly a decade ago, Pilot Projects Design Collective, University of Saskatchewan, and IFRI/FLARE co-created a multi-day youth vision workshop methodology to engage young people who live in a forest community in conversations about their lives, their ideas, and their visions for the future.
Applications are now open for expressions of interest for coordinators, communities and partnerships to continue this important work.
Application Intake: Fall 2024
Eligible Event/Initiative dates: Beginning in 2025
NOTE:
-
Please fill out all questions to the best of your ability, and links are welcome!
-
A major goal of the Future of Forest Work is to create opportunities for young people to better understand the significance of, and interest in, forest work and forest communities in the global context, including creating new working relationships and potential partnerships. We encourage applications that include local NGO and local community partnerships. Note that an eligible partner may also contribute financial/in-kind support.
-
Once submitted, our team will reach out to schedule a 30-minute introduction call.
-
A final report, and including inputting of survey data, is due 30 days following the workshop.
